  10. Flat rocker Longboard

    Surfing Waves Forum &bull Dec 10, 2011

I'm getting back into surfing after getting a titanium hip replacement from skateboarding. I don't pop up as quick with the new hip & want to catch waves earlier to allow extra pop up time. My thought is a board with less rocker or "flat rocker" would help me paddle more efficient, faster, & glide to catch… Full Story »

  11. Nose Concave Question

    Surfing Waves Forum &bull Dec 10, 2011

Hi Everybody,I've been lurking around the forum for a while and have enjoyed reading everyone's posts. That said, I'm wondering if you all could provide some insight into an issue I'm having with my board.I ride a 9'8" Anderson Josh Farberow I. It's a pintail with a good deal of nose concave and a single glass on fin (10.5" height x 7" base). I got a great deal on it second-hand and it's my first board since pretty much being out of surfing for 6 years. I'm not a true beginner and I catch and ride my share of waves,… Full Story »

  15. An Uncle Jaffa Fin Experiment

    Surfing Waves Forum &bull Dec 9, 2011

I've got an interesting experiment coming up.Currently using C drives as side bites on my 9ft Outer Island and a 9" Roxborough centre fin.it goes very well But as the board has a single to double concave with a bit of venturii compression where it goes 1 to 2, I am trialling the FCS bonzer quad fins, the board is not quadable but it gives me a small and large set of Bonzer fins. Jet engines use it where they have a big opening to the engine which then narrows down through the turbine and then reopens out just past it.Surf… Full Story »

  17. Longboard x Campeonatos (por Jaime Viudes)

    Siebert Surfboards &bull Dec 6, 2011

Full Story »
